Hi gang, just got back from the annual charity ski race at Whistler, BC for Ronald McDonald House Charities! My husband and I have been volunteers at the race for over 13 years! What a great event and we raised 100,000.00 so also very successful. Did you know that 100% of every dollar raised for this charity goes directly to use? That's amazing and great to know. All admin costs are covered by McDonald's Restaurants (who are amazing corporate citizens)
How wonderful to know that you are helping families who are in real need with very sick children to care for. The house provides a place for the entire family to be together while their child is in treatment.
Thank you to everyone who participated in this event.....you do it for the kids!

What a blast! The Olympics sure met my expectations and then some! So exciting to watch and such heartfelt moments, its truly hard to describe! We enjoyed quite a few events and tried to get out and walk around the city in between to just feel the vibe! Did anyone see us right behind Charles H. when he got the gold? We got a few calls that we were on tv waving our flags and screaming our lungs out.
I started the whole thing on Friday, Feb 12 as I was hired by McDonald's Restaurants to photograph the torch relay as it passed by on Davie St. Here are some images from that event. Enjoy! Tamara
